シニアの運転免許更新の実態〜テルの経験から
先日、シニアの免許更新を終えたのよ。
そこまでいろいろあったのよ。
去年の６月ごろか、更新手続きのお知らせがきたけど、ほっておいたのよ。
１０月になって、おもむろに受験できるところに電話したのよ。
目黒の赤い丸い玉のある自動車学校。
そしたらさ「もういっぱいです」
そこで慌てたのよ。書いてある教習所に電話したら満員ばかり。
しかたなく、豊島区の教習所に電話したら、朝８時４０分からのが
空いていたのよ。
でも電車で一時間くらいかかるので、前日ホテルに泊まったのよ。
まあ、バタバタだったよ。更新通知が来たらすぐに予約したほうがいいよ。

７５歳から免許更新は大変そう
いろいろ親戚に電話して調べたら、シニアの免許更新は大変と聞いたのよ。
認知症のテストやら自動車運転実技もあるといわれて焦ったのよ。
そこで運転認知機能検査の本をAmazonで買ったのよ。
一生懸命勉強したのよ。
そして、YouTubeでもいろいろ調べたら、ちょっと違ってた。
つまりね、７０歳から７４歳までは、認知機能検査はないのよ。
高齢者講習は座学と車の運転検査。
両方とも出席すれば合格。
車は実際にポイントを教わるだけ。
７５歳以上は認知試験の他に、受験前に違反をすると実車試験があり
それは厳しい試験だそうです。
いつになったら免許を返上するか悩むね。
車があると出かけるときコロナの防止にもなるのでね。
あるといろいろ便利だし、特に買い物にも便利だしね。

So I bought a book on the driving cognitive function test on Amazon.
I studied hard.
And when I looked it up on YouTube, it was a little different.
I mean, between the ages of 70 and 74, there are no cognitive tests.
Classes for the elderly consist of classroom lectures and driving inspections.
If you attend both, you will pass.
The car just teaches the point actually.
In addition to the cognitive test for those aged 75 and over, there is an actual vehicle test if there is a violation before taking the test.
They say it’s a tough test.
I wonder when I’ll be able to return my license.
